The Chief Justice of Pakistan Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry has constituted three benches at the principal seat to hear a number of important cases during the week commencing from Monday (December 31). The bench-1 comprises Chief Justice, Justice Gulzar Ahmed and Justice Sh. Azmat Saeed, the bench-II consist of Justice Jawwad S. Khawaja and Justice Khilji Arif Hussain, while bench-III consist of Justice Anwar Zaheer Jamali and Ejaz Afzal Khan.

According to cause lists, no application for adjournment through fax will be placed before the court. If the counsel is unable to appear for any reason the Advocate-on-Record (AOR) will be required to argue the case. Besides, no adjournment on any ground will be granted.
